Galvolux is a leading Swiss glass and mirror company, in business since 1956 and synonymous with quality, innovation and precision craftsmanship.
The guest toilet created for the entrance lobby stems from a design that combines functionality and visual identity, with the intention of providing a small, elegant, inclusive, and unexpected space.
Designed to be used by both women and men, the toilet discreetly conceals the presence of the pissoir behind a canned glass wall so that it is not immediately visible. A device designed to avoid doubt or disorientation, and make the environment welcoming and clear for all.
The matte black accessories, as well as the glass partition frame, add a strong touch to the design, emphasizing the tension between clean lines and fluid forms, between transparencies and materiality.
A functional microenvironment that manages to become an aesthetic experience, designed to surprise those who enter even for a few moments.
GLASSES AND MIRRORS
The project aims to enhance the know-how of GALVOLUX, excellence in glass and mirror processing, where every solution takes shape.
The main wall is covered with a purple Calacatta marble-effect glass print, a choice that echoes the colors of the Galvolux brand in a contemporary and eye-catching declination, giving personality to the space without excess.
The backlit mirrors with organic shapes-found in both the ante-bathroom and inside the toilet-look like drops of paint running down the wall, creating a dramatic contrast to the minimalist rigor of the sanitary fixtures, panels, and architectural volumes.
